With over the 25 years as a qualified PGA Professional, Andrew has a wealth of experience in golf-business management and professional coaching. Andrew has established an outstanding reputation in the North of England for his ability to take a players golfing ability to the top level, coaching EuroPro, Challenge Tour and Senior European Tour Players, members of the England Golf Women’s Squad and elite county players that have gone on to achieve National titles.
Andrew continues to be a long-standing Adidas and Callaway ambassador here at Penrith Golf Hub in the Lake District.

Beginning his career as a PGA Professional in Liverpool, Lee has spent the last six years immersed in Cumbrian Golf. Lee has coached elite golfers who have graced the amateur and professional circuits at County and National level as well as the EuroPro and Senior European Tour. With an abundance of experience in golf retail and business management, Lee’s drive is the force that will put Penrith Golf Hub on the map.

Mike Newton
PGA Professional & Club Fitting Specialist
Michael is an experienced Golf Professional with over 23 years coaching & custom fitting golfers of all abilities delivering his sessions in a golfing language that everyone understands.
Michael also has a successful YouTube channel (Michael Newton Golf) & growing with over 40,000 subscribers & has golfers travelling great distances to seek his knowledge both coaching & fitting. To watch Mike's latest Pro's Tips, head to our dedicated page under 'Lessons'.

Ellie Broome

Ellie turned Professional in 2018 after reaching scratch at Kirkby Lonsdale GC.
As the face of our new Junior Pathway, Ellie is driven to increase participation in golf through individual lessons, group lessons and clinics. Being one of very few female PGA Professionals in the country, Ellie has launched numerous Ladies coaching programmes.

Emily has been immersed in Golf Retail from the start of her career. Managing our Golf Store here at Penrith Golf Hub, Emily is continually on top of the latest hardware and golf-clothing trends in the industry to bring them directly to you.

Stewart Wilkinson
PGA Professional
Starting his career at Downfield, Stewart is a renowned PGA Professional across Cumbria and Scotland with 47 years experience in the industry. In his youth, Stewart has experienced two wins on the European Tour.
Stewart is known for his traditional teaching style and has coached Walker Cup players, European and EuroPro Tour players. Stewart continues to instil his wealth of playing experience in up and coming golfers here at Penrith Golf Hub.
Jamie Sowerby
Assistant PGA Professional
Jamie has recently embarked on his 3 year journey to becoming a PGA Professional and completed his first year successfully. He is looking to learn from our other Professionals and use his own knowledge to develop his skills for the future.

Ben Montgomery
Retail Assistant
Ben recently joined the team as a young and ambitious local golfer willing to push his golf career to the next level. He has an interest in all sports and the mechanical side of golf using strength and conditioning.
As a member of Windermere GC with a single figure handicap, he can utilise his Cumbrian golf knowledge to advise our customers along with his friendly and welcoming nature.
